An Artist's Promise
As an artist, I take each step in the process of delivering you a beautiful printed image with great care. From the when and why I press the shutter to cropping, hand editing, recommending a specific material choice for a specific photo, and double-checking your prints before handing them to you, every step is taken with the immense love and care of an artist. Kuya Bunso Photography stands behind our finished prints and will not allow a sub-par product to be delivered in your hand. I promise you a stellar final product. Period.
Risks of Digital Files
When you choose to purchase only digital files from a photographer, there’s a big risk that your final products won’t be to the quality or standard you were hoping for - and defeats the purpose of investing in professional photography. When you purchase a print product from an experienced photographer, they may spend hours perfecting the crop and colours of the photograph to produce the best possible result when printed. This process of colour correction is often overlooked, but absolutely essential to reproducing what you see on your computer screen accurately onto printed media. Most consumer-facing print labs also do not offer the standards of colour reproduction that professional labs do, and you may find yourself with prints that are muddy and awkwardly trimmed!
Also, technology is a huge factor. Remember the VCR, the cassette tape, even the floppy disc? Today's technology will be replaced and possibly even inaccessible within 20 years - however, archival quality products will outlast your USB or DVD.
However, I do offer high resolution digital images in certain packages - this is my way of saying thank you for trusting me with your memories.
There are many consumer-grade printers out there eager for your photo, canvas, or album order - it's true! However, at Kuya Bunso Photography, I order from a printing lab which specialises in crafting products specifically for professional photographers - and we are a tough crowd to please! The attention to colour, craftsmanship, archival quality, and guarantee behind the product is unparalleled. Although it may be more expensive to purchase initially, it will last for decades and present each image at its very best.
Why Get Products?
Photographs are meant to be printed. There is nothing quite like an exquisitely designed, handcrafted photo album, canvas, or acrylic block to display and preserve your images in a way that everyone can hold and enjoy. Although online galleries and digital image displays are becoming an increasingly popular, inexpensive way to display photographs, there is still nothing like a physical photo album. Albums aren't just bound paper - they tell the love story of you and your family. Well-designed albums inspire and elicit a wide range of emotions in incredible detail and brilliant colour. Many photographers will spend hours or even days to craft a design that shows off your images as individual works of art.
